Transfer Packages

Orientation MeetingA no cost get-acquainted session in which we go over the student’s interests and goals, family needs and the general transfer process. Preliminary advice and recommendations for follow-up steps or plans are given. 


Can be done in-person, phone or Skype.


Assessment and Evaluation Session

Available to high school students, career changers or job hunters to identify careers matches, learning and communication style, workplace fit and how to find the best setting for who you are. Standardized assessments (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and Strong Interest Inventory) are administered online. A two hour meeting (in-person, phone or Skype) to interpret assessment results and develop a “next steps” plan.

Comprehensive Transfer Package

This package is designed for the student and family who would like assistance with the entire college planning, selection, application, and financial aid process. Includes Assessment and Evaluation Session, transcript reviews, selection of a degree plan/major, preliminary and target college lists, application and financial aid advice, unlimited brainstorming of essay topics and review and revision of essays, campus visit planning, student success planning, interview preparation, unlimited calls to target campuses (if needed).


*initial and quarterly meetings, unlimited phone calls and emails from start to successful transfer


Simple or short-term package

This package is best for students with more than 60 quarter (40 semester) college credits. Includes Assessment and Evaluation Session, transcript review, evaluation of degree plan/major, college list, application and financial aid advice, essay topic choice, single essay review/edits, campus visit planning, student success planning, limited calls to target campuses (if needed).


*initial meeting, 2 follow-up meetings and unlimited phone calls and emails for up to 2.5 academic quarters


Special Planning for Students with Disabilities

For the Comprehensive, Mid-level and Short-term packages, students with disabilities will receive additional support related to: campus disability office contact for determining the college or program best suited to their accommodation needs, advocacy, higher education self-advocacy coaching, introduction to campus personnel, supplemental essay assistance, transition and college success planning, and ad hoc assistance.
